Abstract
Objective:To explore the effective operation for severe brain trauma.Method:The clinical data of 105 cases of severe brain trauma admitted into out hospital from November 2009 to April 2012 were analyzed retrospectively. According to their operation methods, these patients were divided into the observation group(n=62)and the control group(n=43),and the former received standard big bone flap decompression, while the latter was given conventional craniotomy.Result:(1)The incidence rate of postoperative cerebral infarction of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P0.05),while there was no significant difference in the incidence rate of postoperative hydrocephalus between the 2 groups (P0.05).(2)3 months after the surgery, the GOS scores of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group(P0.05). Conclusion:The standard big bone flap decompression shows good therapeutic efficacy in the treatment of severe brain trauma, which is able to improve the incidence rate of postoperative cerebral infarction and prognosis.
