Abstract
Objective To study the value of ultrasonography on the diagnosis of acute appendicitis.Methods Eighty-sixty cases of acute appendicitis were examined by ultrasonography.The results were compared with surgery and pathology.Results Diagnostic ultrasonography accordance rate to operative pathology was 89.5% in acute appendicitis.Conclusion Ultrasonography plays a very important role in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis or appendicitis with atypical clinical feature.
