Abstract

AIM To establish an HPLC method for simultaneously determing costunolide,dehydrocostuslactone and paeoniflorin in Bawei Tongjing Tablet(Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix,Aucklandiae Radix,Angelicae Sinensis Radix,Paeoniae Radix Alba,etc.).METHODS The column C18 was used with CAN-0.085% H3PO4 as mobile phase.The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min,the column temperature was room temperature and the detection wavelength was set at 230 nm.RESULTS The calibration curves were linear within the ranges of 0.094 6 μg-0.946 μg(r =0.999 5) fo costunolide;0.095 20 μg-0.952 μg(r =0.999 9) for dehydrocostuslactone;0.105 3 μg-1.053 0 μg(r = 0.999 3) for paeoniflorin.The average recoveries of the three components in Bawei Tongjing Tablet were 98.2%,98.1% and 98.5%,respectively.CONCLUSION The mothod is specific,accurate and reproducible,and can be used for the quality control of this preparation.
