Research on strategy of member selection and results integration of meta search engine

In recent years,information retrieval(IR)technology becomes very important in Intemet field.Search engine has become one of the most popular network services on Internet.But single search engine couldn't extensive use because its limited coverage and low efficiency.Users have to seek help for the other search engine in order to get the more comprehensive,veracious retrieved information. Meta search engine is a search engine which use others single search engine.It can satisfy users' requirement better.At first,the working theory of the meta search engine is introduced simply.And then some technologies of mete search engine are analysed and compared. And some strategy are presented according to single engine selection and results integration.
