Abstract

With the rapid expansion of network information, single search engine doesn't meet users' information retrieval requirement. Meta search engine overcomes the shortcoming of traditional search engine which has low query completeness and query precision. It sends users' search requests to underlying search engines through only search interface, and merges the results and then returns to the user. This paper analyzes the implement theory and key technique of meta search engine in detail, and puts forward more research contents about meta search engine.
