Abstract

Taking evolutive Nanjing urban streets as the main study object,the paper combined with the actual landuse information to carry out the quantitive analysis and comparative study on the spatial structure evolution of Nanjing old city zones in different typical historical periods based on spatial syntax with the traditional statistical and comparative analysis methods. The result revealed the essential law of historical changes of Nanjing urban space.
