Abstract
Objective:To observe the efficacy and the security of Shenfu Injection in elderly patients with chronic heart failure.Methods:80 cases were randomly divided into two groups with routine therapies. The treatment group was added to the Shenfu Injection. After 15 days, the exercise tolerance, the cardiac function, the echocardiography and the NT-proBNP situation were compared in two groups. Results:In the treatment group, the 6 minutes walking test and the left ventricular ejection fraction were improved significantly. However, the NT-proBNP was decreased obviously. The left ventricular end-diastolic diameter was decreased remarkably. Conclusion:Shenfu Injection is significant and secure in elderly patients with chronic heart failure.
