Analysis of the treatment effect of different types of operating ostium maxillary in endoscopic sinus surgery

Objective To compare the different cure rates of two operation ways curing maxillary sinusitis.Methods A total of 116 cases(155 sides)suffering from chronic maxillary sinusitis and receiving endoscopic sinus surgery were divided into two groups at random.In group A,both and uncinate process were excised,and the maxillary sinus mucosa mouths were not expanded.In group B,both the obstructive factors of middle nasal meatus and uncinate process were resected,and the maxillary sinus mucosa mouths were excised.Results On the standard of 1997(Haikou),68 sides of 75 sides were cured in group A and 74 sides of 80 sides were cured in group B.the cure rate was 90.7% in group A and 92.5% in group B,and the mend rate was 9.3% in group A and 7.5% in group B in a follow-up of more than one year.Conclusion Two operation ways have the same treatment effect under nasal endoscopy.
