Comparative Study on The Kinship Terms of Hakka Dialects and Gan Dialects——Example on Meixian Dialect and Nanchang Dialect

With Meixian dialect and Nanchang dialect as the examples,this paper made a comparative study on the kinship terms between Hakka dialects and Gan dialects. Result shows that between the two dialects the different words are more than the similar words,and the same old patriarchal beliefs in the two dialects; on the other side,in Hakka dialects there is a little difference from the old patriarchal beliefs because some relatives on mother 's be called the same with on father 's. By comparison there are more and older archaic words in Hakka dialects,and some corresponding component between the two dialects can be seen as distinctive features.
