Effects of Drought Stress and Nitrogen Rate on Dry Matter and N,P,K Accumulation in Flue-cured Tobacco

Abstract

In order to explore the effects of drought stress and nitrogen rate on dry matter and N,P,K accumulation in flue-cured tobacco,with flue-cured tobacco variety Jiyan 9 as materials,5 treatments of different nitrogen rate were set up to do pot experiment.The results showed each index of agronomic traits in treatment E(0.60 g/kg) were better than that in other treatments under drought stress.Under the conditions of normal water supply,the performance in treatment D(0.45 g/kg) was best.And when nitrogen rate was increased up to 0.60 g/kg,the growth of tobacco plants was inhibited.The daily accumulation of dry matter and N,P,K were increased with the increasing of nitrogen application rate and the daily accumulation all showed the change trend of slow-fast-slow.The daily accumulation peak of dry matter under drought stress was advanced 4 days than that in the treatment of normal water supply.The daily accumulation peak of K was advanced 4 days than that of N and P,which indicated that K was more sensitive to drought.
