Abstract

A preliminary research on dry matter accumulation trend of flue-cured tobacco was conducted under different nitrogen application rate in East Hunan. The results showed that dry matter accumulation amount of roots, stems and leaves were greater under condition of N 127.5 kg/hm2,and they were 78.20,74.66 and 128.48 g/plant respectively at round-shape stage. The relative increment was 4.33,2.967 and 1.335 times to that of no N treatment respectively, and the relative increasing speed was 2.060,1.819 and 2.198 g/d respectively. So application N 127.5 kg/hm2 could bring flue-cured tobacco a higher biological yield under conditions of local climate.
