Abstract
The dehydration of crude oil at gathering/treating plant Gao 1 of Jidong was performed with demulsifier JDP 6 at rather high temperatures(70—80℃). The newly developed demulsifier, LTBF 01, is a water soluble combinational one: a special PO/EO/PO triblock polyether and a polyethylenepolyamine initiated EO/PO diblock polyether in mixture. LTBT 01 is superior to JDP 6 in dehydration rate, demulsifying rate and separated water quality as shown in laboratory comparative evaluating experiments. The dehydration temperature is decreased by 15℃ to 50—55℃ with the same amount of demulsifier LTBF 01 introduced in the field test performed over 3 months.
