Effect of Cysteamine on some Serum Chemical Parameters and Enzymatic Activity of Broiler Chickens

In order to study the effect of cysteamine added to fodder on the some serum chemical parameters and enzymatic activity of chickens,144 AA broiler chickens of one day old were divided into four groups randomly.Cysteamine was supplemented to feedingstuff after pre-feeding one week in dose of 50,100,150,0mg/kg,respectively.The venous blood collected was determined for content of the serum-Ca,serum-P,serum glucose and activity of AST,ALT and ALP in the four groups every two weeks.The results indicated that there were marked effects on serum calcium,but there was no marked effect on serum phosphorus and glucose as cysteamine added to feedingstuff in proper dose.There was no significant effect on ALT and AST activity of chicken as cysteamine added to feedingstuff in dose of 50～100mg/kg;but there was a certain effect on ALP activity.
