Abstract
Trace amount of Ga(Ⅲ)was separated from water sample by forming a coordination complex with 8-hydroxyquinoline in PBS of pH 6.86 and by cloud point extraction with Triton X-114.The surfactant phase was dispersed in 0.4 mL of a mixture of 0.1 mol·L~(-1)HNO_3 and methanol, and Ga(Ⅲ)the solution was determined by GFAAS.Influential factors of cloud point extraction and interferences of coexisting ions were studied and optimized. Detection limit(3σ)of the method found was 2 pg.The propose method was used in the determination of Ga in serum and Chinese herbal medicine, and the values of recovery of the method found by standard addition method were in the range from 95.6%-104.8%.
