Abstract
The composite coating containing WC/Ni was prepared by electro-brush plating.The microstructure of the composite coating was studied,the microhardness and friction-wear characteristics of the composite coating were examined,the deposition of WC particles on the surface of the composite coating was studied.The results show that the microstucture is refined gradually with the increase of WC particles content in the solution,the composite coating with WC/Ni has higher microhardness and better wear resistance than high-speed nickel coating,and the microhardness and wear resistance reach the maximum when the content is 30g/L.
