Abstract
Manufacturing industry is the most representative one of all kinds of industrial agglomeration.In this paper,by using the theories of industrial agglomeration and regional economic development,and adopting the methods of the empirical analysis,studying relationship between industrial agglomeration and regional economic development.Meanwhile,this article takes Chongqing's sport and communication facilities manufacturing industry agglomeration as an example,which has done the empirical study between industrial agglomeration and the regional economic development.As a result,the agglomeration degree of manufacturing industry has a strong positive correlation with the economic growth.
