Abstract
Objectives: To study the relationship between the expression of gene of bcl-2,bax, p53 and development of gastric cancer. Methods: 81 samples underwent endoscopy were taken and immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of bcl-2? bax ?p53 proteins. Results: There was significant difference in the expression of bcl-2 in group of chronic superficial gastritis, dysplasia and gastric cancer (P0.05). Prevalence of the positive rate of bcl-2 expression was gradually increasing. The expression of bax was significantly higher in chronic superficial gastritis than that in gastric cancer (P0.01). There was significant difference in the positive rate of bax expression between the group of chronic superficial gastritis and group of dysplasia (P0.05). And the expression of bax was gradually decreasing. There was significant difference in p53 expression in group of chronic superficial gastritis, dysplasia and gastric cancer (P0.05). Conclusions: There was inhibition in apoptosis during development of gastric cancer. Expression of speed apoptosis gene bax decreased while the expression of inhibition genes of apoptosis increased.
