Observation of Clinical Effect on Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease Treated with Fuyankang Capsule Combined With Metronidazole

Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Fuyankang Capsule combined with metronidazole in the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. Method: 86 cases of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease were randomly divided into control and treatment groups. The two groups were given conventional treatment and both intravenous metronidazole sodium chloride injection. The treatment group added Fuyankang Capsules,continuously for 3 courses. The clinical efficacy and safety were observed. Results: After treatment,clinical symptoms and signs in two groups were significantly improved. The total effective rate was 79. 1% in the control group and total effective rate was 95. 3% in the treatment group with a significant difference( P 0. 05). HSG normal rate of the treatment group was 81. 4% and that of the normal control group was 67. 4% with a significant difference( P 0. 05). There were no severe adverse reactions in two groups. Conclusion: Fuyankang capsules combined with metronidazole for the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease is safe,effective and reliable with certain clinical reference.
