Abstract
Based on the analysis of Chinese rural residents’time series data and cross section data,this paper points out that while the income of rural residents in our country has experienced a constant growth,an apparent level change is indicated in its growth rate.Salary income and family business income constitute the largest proportion of the income.Income among different areas and different types between different areas differ significantly.Income from secondary and tertiary-industry makes up an important part of the income of rural residents.Through theoretical and empirical analysis,this paper obtains the influence factors on rural residents’income,such as the industry rural residents are engaged in,the number of rural labor force,agricultural product price,etc.
