Analysis on Changes of Income Structure of Rural Residents Since Reform

Since the economic reform in 1978,the income of rural residents has increased gradually and the income structure has changed greatly.Firstly,net income of each rural resident accounts for a smaller part in the total income. Secondly,cash income has become the main body of the income and the income from wages and salaries has made up a bigger part.Thirdly,the income from household operations has been the main source of farmers' net income.Fourthly,the income from transfers and the income from properties increase slowly.Fifth,the income from primary,secondary and tertiary industries has experienced a moderate change.Based on the above-mentioned changes and the new characteristics,we should take proper measures to further enhance the income of rural residents.
