Abstract
4-Benzoyl-N-dodecyl-N,N-dimethyl benzenemethanammonium bromide was synthesized through the reaction of 4-bromomethyl benzophenone with dodecyl dimethyl amine. Its structure was characterized by MS,IR and 1H NMR. The purity of the product was 98%,and the yield was 81%(based on 4-Bromomethyl benzophenone).
