Abstract
Under common air pressure, 2 bromo 5 fluorotoluene is oxidized by oxygen to synthesize 2 bromo 5 fluorobenzoic acid. Acetic acid is used as solvent; acetic cobalt, acetic manganese and bromide sodium are used as catalyst. Reaction temperature ranging 120~130℃, 2 bromo 5 fluorotoluene concentration ranging 16.8%~20.2% and the catalyst dosage ranging 2.5%~4% of 2 bromo 5 fluorotoluene, the product yield is high.
