Abstract

This paper makes a risk analysis on the cases of six typical fire and explosion hazards from oil storage tank of petrochemical enterprises.These hazards are caused by oil tank overfill,lightning strike,static electricity,self-ignition of ferrous sulfide,construction operation with fire and improper coordination of the production operation devices.The paper brings forward effective preventive measures to avoid accident occurrence.
