Abstract

By combining the project of equal rate of nitrogen and phosphorus with that of nitrogen rate varying with the P rates, the relationship between the optimum ratio of fertilizer application on corn and its maximum yield application rate and the utilization and uptake of soil nutrients for corn was studied. Results indicated that the ratio of applied N and P significantly affected not only the use efficiency and total uptake of corn but the maximum yield application rate.In so far as maximum yield N application rate under the condition of optimum application ratio of N and P,the nutrients of N and P were efficiently absorbed and utilized by corn and had higher recovery efficiency and physiological efficiency, and unbalanced absorption of N and P nutrient was formed due to the unbalanced supply of N and P nutrient and in the end led to the lower recovery efficiency and physiological efficiency.
