Abstract
Against deformation monitoring for the hydropower industry, high mountains and steep slopes,as well as GPS satellite signal blocking and GPS network design restricted, network monitoring points adjacent distance of only a few hundred meters,it is difficult to meet the《global positioning system( GPS) measurement specifications》grade D side network requirements of the situation. With engineering examples, the short side of the GPS network data processing and precision analysis using GPS Total Station EDM verification checklist to meet the short side measuring distances ranging accuracy requirements are presented. The side length error less than 5 mm,and seized GPS network nuclear discussed are found. The deformation monitoring reference value shoold be hope to play.
