Abstract
In order to reveal the thick coal seam overburden strata movement and deformation rule of mining, through the equivalent material simulation study on 3D strip mining and caving the roof method of thick coal seam, this paper ascertained the law of movement and deformation of mantle fock and ground surface. Three dimensional similar material physical model test can reflect the variety of overlying strata deformation, mobile, a prototype of the variation law of stress, strain. The traveling angle values in rock stratum, surface subsidence coefficient, provided reliable reference for mining.
