Abstract
Applying compositional statistics,the paper carries out comparative analyses of the urban resident's consumption structure on the different income level.It includes: the simulations about consumption expenditure characteristics of the urban residents;the comparison tests of consumption structural change and so on.The conclusions are: statistical differences are significant between high-income urban residents and low-income urban families etc.
