Implications of The 12th of Filial Piety for the Contemporary Ideological and Political Education

pietyis one of the traditional virtues in China,and it is also the basic qualities that everyone should have. Both in ancient or modern times,filial piety has been praised by people. In order to teach and constraints the moral behavior of people,the ancient rulers let people to learn Piety, which can help people to understand the significance of the truth. By exploring the connotative meaning of the 12th of Filial Piety and understanding the ways and means of ancient ideological and political education, this paper aims at getting some implications for the contemporary ideological and political education.
