Abstract
Objective To analyze the effects of nebulized budesonide in patients with exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Methods Seventy patients with AECOPD were divided into nebulized budesonide group and methylprednisolone group. All patients received routine treatment at the same time. Results The clinical symptoms and pulmonary function were improved in both groups. The nebulized budesonide group had less change in fasting Blood-glucose level. Conclusion The study demonstrates that nebulized budesonide may be an effective and safe therapy in the treatment of exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
