Application and effectiveness of high quality nursing in the geriatric department

Abstract
Objective To investigate the application and effectiveness of high quality nursing in the geriatric department. Methods 120 patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group,concluding 60 patients either. Patients in the control group were given traditional nursing practice,while those in the observation group were given high quality nursing. Compare the two groups with patients' health knowledge,psychological needs satisfaction,satisfaction of nursing care and attitude. Results Degree of health knowledge,psychological needs satisfaction,satisfaction of nursing care and attitude satisfaction in the Observation group were 86. 67% 、90% 、91. 67% 、100% respectively,which were higher than those of control group. Conclusion High quality nursing helps improve the satisfaction of inpatients of geriatric department and the quality of hospital care.
