Abstract

General arrangement as well as the characteristics of the main circuit,auxiliary circuit,microprocessor control system and pneumatic braking system are introduced briefly for the HXD3 high-power AC drive freight electric locomotive.Short analysis is made to the frequent faults of the main converter,auxiliary converter,110 V power modules and locomotive wheelset slip.Relative emergency solutions are worked out.
