Abstract
The effects of allelopathy of Ulva pertusa Kjellman on the growth,physiological and biochemical characteristics including Chl-a content,soluble protein content,MDA content,T-AOC,CAT activity,SOD activity and GPX activity of Heterosigma akashiwo(Hada)Hada were studied by the experimental ecology and biochemical methods.The results showed that the allelopathy of U.pertusa could inhibit the growth of H.akashiwo,and the effects on antioxidant enzymatic activies were obvious.The T-AOC and CAT activity showed the decreasing trend,but MDA content and CAT activity showed the increasing trend,while GPX showed the increasing trend from 3 d to 6 d and decreasing trend from 6 d to 12 d under allelopathy from U.pertusa.The change of Chla content and soluble protein content was not obvious.The superfluous reactive oxygen species produced by allelopathy of U.pertusa was the main reasons for the damage of H.akashiwo.
