Abstract

【Objective】To explore clinical characteristics, infection rate, detection rate of extended spectrum beta lactamase(ESBLs) and drug resistance rate in child Klebsiella Pneumoniae. 【Methods】Phlegm specimens of 752 children pneumoniae hospitalized during 2006~2008 were taken bacteria culture and appraised,ESBLs production was confirmed in children who were isolated as Pneumoniae Klebsiella.Retospective analysis of 56 cases with Klebsiella Pneumoniae was performed. 【Results】The clinical characteristics of child Klebsiella Pneumoniae were low infection age, sticking Phlegm, normal WBC level of blood and raised HS-CRP;Infection rate of Klebsiella Pneumoniae of child pneumoniae in our hospital was 7.45%;ESBLs detection rate was 32.1% in Klebsiella Pneumoniae children;ESBLs productive stains sensitive rate to Imipenem was 100%,lower sensitive rate to Penicillin and Cephalosporins;Higher drug resistance in ESBLs productive stains than non-ESBLs one. 【Conclusion】Pneumoniae Klebsiella is an important pathogen in hospital recently. It has great significance to confirm the pathogen and choose sensitive antibiotic according to clinical characteristics and analysis of drug sensibility.
