Effect of Zhibai Dihuang Decoction on Levels of Testosterone of Acne Patients

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and security of Zhibai Dihuang Decoction on the treatment of ache,and study its effect on the levels of Testosterone.Methods:60 cases of acne patients were randomly divided into therapeutic group and control group,patients of therapeutic group were treated with Zhibai Dihuang Decoction,and control group were treated with Viaminati.After 8 weeks,therapeutic results and changes of serum levels of Testosterone before and after treatment were measured.Results:In therapeutic group,six patients(20.00%) were cured,7 cases showed markedly effective,and total effective rate was 83.75%;in control group,seven patients(23.33%) were cured,9 cases showed markedly effective,and total effective rate was 86.67%,There Was no significant difference(P0.5).The levels of Testosterone in therapeutic group were greatly different before and after treatment(P0.05),and it was greatly different from that of control group(P0.05).Conclusion:Zhibai Dihuang Decoction has preferable clinic effects.It may take the role through regulating the level of Testosterone.
