Three Dimensions of Development of Suojia Longhorn Miao Costume

This paper takes Suojia Longhorn Miao costume in Liuzhi District,Guizhou Province as the research object and adopts artistic anthropology research methods such as diachrony literature review and synchronic field investigation to carefully and deeply study Longhorn Miao costume and settle its development course in three dimensions-style,material and craft. In addition,this paper summarizes the absorption and integration of advanced culture by Longhorn Miao costume in this period and demonstrates changes of local people in aesthetic values behind the development of Longhorn Miao costume and general development law of Longhorn Miao costume. This paper aims to explore inner correlation between the costume and Miao culture and clearly display Longhorn Miao costume which tends to be open under the background of rapid economic development.
