Abstract
The optimal procedure for extracting flavonoids from silkworm excrement by ultrasonic aided extraction technique was studied. The orthogonal design was adopted to optimize the alcohol extraction process. The contents of flavonoids from silkworm excrement were determined by colourmetric method. The order of the factors which affected extraction was:concentration of ethanol ratio of solid and liquid extraction time. The optimal condition of ultrasonic aided extraction technique was as follows:ethanol concentration:600 mL·L~(-1),ratio of solvent of solid materia 1:8;time of extraction:25 min, times of extraction:twice.
