Abstract
【Objective】To compare the clinical outcome, security, feasibility and advantages of laparoscopic myomectomy with those of abdominal myomectomy.【Methods】A retrospective analysis was performed on the data of 151 patients with hysteromyoma, who underwent laparoscopic and abdominal myomectomy in our hospital from March 2005 to December 2008.Of the 151 women,78 underwent laparoscopic myomectomy(laparoscopic group) and 73 underwent abdominal myomectomy(abdominal group).Subsequently,a comparison was performed on the operative indications, complications, operative duration, intraoperative blood loss and postoperative recovery in the two groups.【Results】The operative duration of laparoscopic group and abdominal group were(92.53±46.58) minutes,(87.36±30.45) minutes, respectively. There was no significant difference between them(P 0.05).The intraoperative blood loss in laparoscopic group [(97.32±42.33) mL] was less than that in abdominal group [(132.46±46.53) mL,P 0.05].In laparoscopic group, postoperative body temperature recovery time, the time of passage of gas by anus and off-bed activity and postoperative hospital stay were(1.02±0.52) days,(6.30±3.41) hours,(12.49±3.25) hours and(4.53±1.51) days, respectively;in abdominal group, they were(2.85±1.27) days,(30.12±10.32) hours,(35.41±5.36) hours and(7.81±1.32) days, respectively. The durations of the former were significantly shorter than those of the latter(P0.05).【Conclusion】Laparoscopic myomectomy is an ideal operation and deserves generalization for its advantages such as little trauma, little intraoperative blood loss, rapid postoperative recovery and short hospital stay.
