Abstract

The paper conducted a comparative analysis on technical statistics data of seven games between Chinese men's basketball team and its competitive teams in the 28th Olympic men's basketball games adopted the methods of documentary analysis,observation and technical analysis,and comparative analysis.The results of this study indicated that the inside advantages of Chinese men's basketball team has not been established,but the traditional characteristics of speeding and flexibility has been lost during the style changes;the attacking rhythm is slow while converting the defense to offence;the sense of fast breaking is short,the attacking point is unique;the external actual strength is deficient and inside and outside is disjointed;the defense of stretching out and drawing back is inadequate;the defense system is out of control completely;international match experience is lack.Accordingly,Chinese men's basketball team cannot adapt the high-level offensive and defensive antagonism.
