A comparative analysis on abilities in both offense and defense of Chinese Men's Basketball Team in the 29th Olympic Games

The paper makes a comparative analysis on relative index data of Chinese Men's Basketball Team in the 29th Olympic Games with those of competitive teams and 4 top teams as well as its own data in the 28th Olympic Games by using the method of documents,observation and technical analysis.The result indicates that,firstly,comparing with itself in the 28th Olympic Games,Chinese Men's Basketball Team has gained obvious promotion in five indexes such as blocks,the rate of two-point score and so on,and the overall tactical system has been clearer.Secondly,comparing with the competitive teams,there were some disparities in ten indexes such as two-point score attempt,snatches and so on,and it was deficient in inside attacking strength,the aggressivity,destructiveness and cooperativity in defense,and transforming consciousness at high rhythm between attack and defense,etc.Finally,comparing with 4 top teams,there were obvious disparities in thirteen indexes such as field goals percentage,assists,snatches and so on,and the technical and tactical characteristics in games of 4 top teams are worth the Chinese Team using for reference.
