Abstract
The new technology of micellar-enhanced ultrafiltration(MEUF),combining surfactants and ultrafiltration,is capable of removing low molecular weight,low concentration and refractory organic pollutants efficiently from wastewater,and it can overcome the low efficiency,high energy consumption limitations of the traditional methods.With the research results of removing organic pollutants via micellar-enhanced ultrafiltration recently,this paper mainly introduces its basic principle,used surfactants,the suitable organic pollutants for removal,membrane choice,and the influencing factors.Then its developing direction is prospected.
