Abstract
This paper discusses the interaction relevance theory for the industry clusters and regional innovation system,analyzes the reasons for innovative mechanisms missing and development status in the Chongqing Municipal Information Industry cluster,proposes new strategies to nurture the information industry clusters in Chongqing Municipality to promote the information industry in Chongqing Municipality Independent Innovation Strategy from the government level: changing industrial policies into regional innovative policies for industrial clusters; establishing science and technology innovation platform based on industrial cluster;and promoting the merging of Chongqing industrial cluster into global system of industry value chain.
