Abstract
Currently,study on the theory of regional economic development is getting popular and popular in our country.This paper appraises the development and the evolution of regional economy theory on the base of reviewing it.Wielding the division of labor and specialization theory in New Classical Economics,this paper analyses the route of regional economic development,then points out that the evolution of division of labor and specialization is as the same as the route of regional economic development not only in macro-economy area,but also in micro-economy area.The division of labor and specialization theory could be used to explain the phenomenon in regional economic development,such as the form of economic system and the evolution,and so on.
