Abstract
It is necessary and important for forestry economists to search for a new path of researching on forestry industry,especially with the revolution of economic theory.This paper reviews the development stages of forestry economic theory firstly.Then the object of domestic and foreign forestry economic theories have been assessed,the paper introduces the division of labor and specialization theory.Meanwhile,the feasibility of combining the division of labor and specialization theory to forestry economic field.The paper suggests that the theory of division of labor and specialization should be the foundation of forestry economic theory,and so a newer path research on forestry economic theory is practical possibly.
