Clinical observation of rheumatoid arthritis treated by neijing acupuncture method and moxibustion combining Chinese drugs application method

Objective Observation of rheumatoid arthritis treated by neijing acupuncture method and moxibustion combining Chinese drugs application method.Method Fourty－ two cases of rheumatoid arthritis treated by acupuncture and moxibustion combining Chinese drugs application method (treatment group). Thirty cases treated by Western medicine (compare group). Result Total effective rate of treatment group (88.1％ )was superior to that of compare group (63.3％ )(P 0.05); In treatment group, the patients' number and degree of arthroncus, the number and degree of arthralgia, time of morning ankylosis and erythrocyte sedimentation were remarkably alleviated (P 0.01); In improvement of clinical symptoms respect, treatment group was superior to compare group(P 0.01). But the difference of erythrocyte sedimentation rate in two groups was not obvious(P 0.05). Conclusion The therapeutic effect of treatment group was superior to that of compare group. It can remarkably improve the function of joints,remove or alleviated the patient｀ s clinical symptoms, no side effect.
