Abstract
USB(Universal Serial Bus),a new interface connecting the computer and the peripheral equipment,has caused the great innovation in the connecting techniques of the peripheral equipments of computers.Many virtues such as flexibility,stable communication,and lower cost made it take the place of serial port and parallel port as the interface of the ink[CD*jet printer.In this paper,the hardware based on controller ISP1581 produced by Philips Company is designed.The method of firmware and USB device driver and the implementation of the software on PC end are respectively described.But the emphasis is put on hardware and firmware designing achieved.This system has certain practical value and prospect.
