Abstract

The effects of six insecticides were evaluated against diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella) in the field. The results showed that the mortality was over 92% for controlling the insect with the preparations, those were 24.5% avermectin mixed with diesel oil and 20% avermectin mixed with phoxim, which were used at 50 g/667m2. The controlling effects of 5% avermectin and 5% avermectin mixed with beta-cypermethrin were over 80% when used at 15 g/667m2. All those preparations mentioned above are excellent agents for controlling diamondback moth.
