Abstract
Applying 10% mixture EC(emulsifiable concentrate) of avermectin and chlorpyrifos to control the larvae of diamondback moth(Plutella xylostella(L.)),the effect was very rapid and obvious for one day after applying and lasting for a long time.It had no adverse effect on the growth of cabbage after application, and the effect was much better than the other two control chemicals. The results showed that 10% mixture EC of avermectin and chlorpyrifos was one of the best chemicals to control diamondback moth(Plutella xylostella(L.)) and the recommended dose was 600~900ml per hectare.
