Abstract
Culture is regarded as the soul of tourism. The culture and connotation of scenic spots are gradually becoming the internal impetus for attracting tourists. To improve cultural intension of scenic spots, more cultural contents should be included in their planning and designing. It is necessary to excavate the culture of scenic spots in deeper-layer, and for that purpose a systemic and integrated process is needed. Cultural development of scenic spots should include location of cultural themes, demostration of cultural connotation and enhancement of culture communication. A case study of the Longshui Lake in Chongqing is conduced.
