Abstract
The clonal seed orchard(CSO) of Picea asperata has an area of 4.6 hm2 and consists of 4 sections,reserving 87clones.The average breast diameter,height and crown size for section 1 were 8.52 cm, 4.36 m and 3.11 m respectively.The average breast diameter,height and crown size for section 2 were 8.90 cm,5.50 m and 3.60 m respectively.The average breast diameter,height and crown size for section 3 were 8.89 cm,5.21 m and 3.54 m respectively.The average breast diameter,height and crown size for section 4 were 10.13 cm,6.50 m and 4.17 m respectively.The variance analysis of growth traits showed that there were significant differences among /within clones as for breast diameter,height and crown size in section 1 in CSO,there were not obvious differences among /within clones as for breast diameter,height and crown size in section 2 in CSO.Within section 3 in CSO,there were significant differences among /within clones as for breast diameter,there were significant differences among clones and obvious differences within clones as for height,and as for crown size there were significant differences among clones and there was not obvious difference within clones.There were significant differences among /within clones as for breast diameter,height and crown size within section 4 in CSO.The variation of increment average within clones was greatly smaller than that among clones,which demonstrated that growth traits were mainly controlled by heredity.The site conditions have a very significant influence on the tree height in clones,and an obvious influence on the breast diameter,but have no obvious influene on the crown size.The interaction of site × clones has a great effect on the breast diameter and height of clones.The order of clones for four sections was put forward on the basis of multi-compariation of the height of clones.And a discussion was also made on the management and application ways for this CSO.
