Abstract
Six-word poem is special in the ancient poem genres in our country. Directly enlightened by six-word poems in previous time, together with the author's exploration and perception on new poems, this paper concludes that the six-word poem originates in Early Qing Dynasty, arises in West Han and finishes in Wei-Jin North-South Dynasty. To explore the reasons of its existence from the perspective of literature research has great benefit to the study of the variance of ancient poem genres.
